Inside Porta Nigra “The Black gate”. Once it was considered the frontier, separating the Roman Empire from the Germanic tribes in the north.
I am so sick of being treated as I don’t exist at work. I always smile to everyone and get eye contact the second they come in the door. Mostly people just act like I don’t exist or like I’m furniture or something, they don’t smile back, they don’t look at me, they don’t talk to me, if they do it’s to yell at me. If they don’t like the art then that’s my fault, I even had someone scream at me because I didn’t live during the war! Today the artist that made the exhibition in the room I’m sitting in came to hang out with a photographer and a friend. (This artist is notorious for ignoring the museum staff). She and the friend began talking about the guards/hosts with me sitting like 5m away from them, laughing about how stuff still get ruined even though someone guarded the exhibition every day. They were acting like I didn’t understand what they were saying or something. If she’s got a problem with my guarding skills then tell me, don’t talk about it in front of me with your back against me. I’m not an avox.
