I’m a 23 year old history student who works at an art museum. I got a camera a few years ago and post my images here. Sometimes I reblog or write, but mostly expect pictures from my travels or from my life in Norway.

Jesus, i’m so over my fucking master thesis right now! I never want to see a vita or a source in norse or latin ever again. I’m this close to saying i never want to read about magic, or visions or kings with supernatural powers ever again either, but that would be a bit to far. I guess I should just be thankful I didn’t choose something really dull to write about, like that guy in my class thats writing about a tunnel, or i would have died from boredom by now. But no matter how interesting the theme is, I’ve been writing this stuff for two years now, its just way too long.

Dirty face: but no chimney sweep

Hat with feather and crossbow: but no huntsman

A dress with a long train embroidered in silver: but no princess

Tři oříšky pro Popelku ( Three wishes for Cinderella) is a holiday classic in several European countries. It is shown at Christmas every year in the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland, Norway, and sometimes Russia.

You’re getting older, and you’ll see that life isn’t like your fairy tales. The world is a cruel place. And you’ll learn that, even if it hurts. - El laberinto del fauno / Pan’s Labyrinth  (2006, dir. Guillermo del Toro)
